Meet Ariya
Ariya Arora was raised in the DMV and grew up in Montgomery County, MD. From a young age she had a keen interest in everything real estate, interior design and making spaces Zen and peaceful. Her dad was a contractor and as a child growing up, she would go with him to job sites negotiating contracts with him.
Ariya went on to study at the University of Maryland, College Park for her bachelor’s degree - “Go Terps!” Later she attended Boston University for her master’s degree in Criminology, which would lead her to work for the Department of Justice for almost 15 years. Ariya loved working with such amazing people and making a difference in her country. Despite working on such important missions, she still missed interacting with people, working in real estate and making homes interiors beautiful. She took the leap and went into designing the interiors for Aarden Homes which she absolutely loved.
With a keen eye for the simple and elegant, she worked feverishly to select finishes and make sure every home was just right for each family. With time, however she decided that instead of being behind the scenes, she wanted to work as a real estate agent because she loved meeting new people and helping them find their forever homes. Ariya is detail-oriented, as well as patient after having worked in national security, home building and interior design. She will bring all her expertise to work for you. When she is not exploring homes she is with her husband and two boys usually at swim meets.
